FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

How can I further customize the cover of my book?

All of our cookbooks’ covers can be fully customized. The options for customization supported by default are specifying the title, subtitle, author, and picture. The cover pages can be personalized further by changing the text color and background color. For those who want full flexibility, open your favorite graphics editor program, and create your cover. Then upload the picture and select it as your cover. Be sure to specify your “Spine Text”.

Do you offer group discounts?

Yes. For orders of 20 books or more, please contact us for group pricing. Pricing for group orders is based on the number of black and white pages (recipe pages), number of color pages, binding style, and number of books ordered. If you are a registered non-profit organization, check out our fundraisers page. Or, if you are purchasing for a corporation, check out our corporate page.

My book has more than 50 pages - can I still use your service?

Yes. The only difference for books with over 50 pages is that these books are priced individually. Pricing is based on the number of black and white pages, number of color pages, binding style, and quantity of books ordered. Any of our binding styles can hold up to 200 pages. For books up to 260 pages, you can choose the Wire-O Soft Cover or the Hardback Casebound binding styles. Pricing on books of more than 50 pages can be calculated here.

Can I have multiple recipes per page?

Our designer currently has three recipe page layouts that allow two recipes. If you want to add a second recipe to an existing page, start by clicking the edit button (pencil icon) next to the page. On the “layout” tab select either the “Two Recipe Page”, “Large Recipe Top/ Small Recipe Bottom”, or “Small Recipe Top/Large Recipe Bottom” page layout.

Can I change the font?

Yes! We highly encourage you to customize your cookbook to match your style. Click here to watch a quick tutorial on pairing fonts.

Are the pages printed on the front and back?

Yes, the pages in your book will be double-sided, so one sheet of paper is 2 pages. They’ll be printed the way they appear as you “flip” through the book in the designer using the navigation arrows.

Are section dividers the same kind of paper as the recipe pages?

Yes. Section dividers are printed on the same type of paper as the rest of the book. You can find all of our paper types and their descriptions here.
