About This Book
The Messy Chef is a collection of mostly Italian recipes I gathered on our travels through Italy. Originally started for my children, the book turned out to be a project in 2020 during the pandemic in Germany. I have had wonderful responses from friends and family and encouragement to publish it. Most of the recipes are quite simple and easy to prepare. I truly hope you enjoy the book and would love any feedback! Bon Appetit!!

I was born and raised in California. In 2012, I moved to Germany to be with my then-husband (also from California). We have spent most of our time traveling in Europe, with Italy easily becoming our favorite place to be. Food is an essential part of Italian culture.
